Edit Categories is now live in Lore Link! What does this mean? Well, paid users now have the option of being able to edit categories, allowing them to further customize their campaigns!
So, what are Categories? Categories are how Lore Link organizes Lore in distinct groups to make the lives of GMs easier when looking for a particular piece of Lore. Default Categories in Lore Link are: Characters (soon to be changed to NPCs), Villains, Creatures, Items, and Transportation. Lore inside of a Category can be hierarchically stacked with other Lore within the same category, and paid members can use templates within a category to help make similar pieces of Lore faster and easier.
Paid Users, however, can now add, remove, and rename categories to better make their campaigns match their preferred style. Want a campaign that feels more sci-fi? Rename Transportation to Starships, and add a Planets Category! Have a campaign involving complex factions of Mages, Vampires and Werewolves? Add new categories for each type to make tracking down a particular individual just that much faster! These new categories are fully compatible with everything else in Lore Link, allowing them to be linked to Sessions, Encounters, Tags, Timelines, and even our most-recent addition: Encounters!
