Lore Link Lore Link

Hey there, Mark Della-Croce Lore Link Product Lead, here again. Spooky season has come and gone, and now we’re on to American Thanksgiving and the rest of the Holidays! So let’s talk about all the cool things going on!

First of all, our Indie Creator Series on Twitch has been great! We’ve talked with so many awesome creators and the amazing games they’ve created. To start off, I ran Bite the Hand with creator Alex V and took him and the Lore Link players through a simple snatch and grab. You can watch how Alex’s game models the characters building stress as things start to go wrong here! After that, Kalum showed us what happens AFTER your party defeats the guardian of the dungeon and tries to get all that wonderful loot home in Magic of Inventorying! You can watch my poor Thog the Hoardian make difficult choices about which giant rocks to take home over on YouTube! Next, Craig H came by and showed us how his system Shadowlight & Personae can help you and your players build immersive worlds and characters through an awesome Session 0. Check it out as the Lore Link Players build out a world where information travels only as fast as people do! And most recently. Mike sat down with Emily Fraser to discuss her games Hc Svnt Dracones and Gallerie! The discussion covered her unique games and their awesome artwork!

And of course, not to be out done by our guests, we’ve done a bit of gaming and discussing on our own! I planned out a spooky Halloween game for the team using Monster of the Week. I planned out the adventure using Lore Link’s new Lore features and then ran it for them on Halloween! And of course, all work and no games makes for some dull streamers, so Tony the Communications Director and I played some of the new Powerwash Simulator 2 while we chatted about various and sundry topics!

Good clean? Fun!

Coming up next month, we’ll be spending the beginning of the holiday season with Mike talking with Brian about his newest game, Twenty Flights on November 25th. Following that Mike will be back to plan our Holiday 2025 game for the Lore Link Players titled Crashing Winterfest on December 2nd. You’ll be able to watch the Lore Link players tackle that adventure on Friday, December 5th! As always, if you want to be notified when we go live with any of these streams, follow our Twitch channel or catch the stream archive over on our YouTube channel.

We’re taking a break from conventions over the holiday season (though we did just wrap up a great sponsorship at AcadeCon and you can also catch recent stream guest Craig H at virtual convention Convention Zero!). But we’ll be back next year

On the development front it has been a much quieter month after we released the Lore Refactor, with only a few bug fixes going out to keep things as smooth as possible for our users. Catch next month’s newsletter for some exciting previews of our upcoming feature, Encounter Manager!

Till then however, may your players be thankful for all those critical failures you keep rolling!
