Gallerie
Part of the Indie Creator Series

A banner for Gallerie - Queer stories of beauty, horror, and hope. It has gorgeous art with a cast of characters in the background, and a white tiger smiling at the top.

In this week’s look at our Indie Creator Series, we’re going back to the beginning of May. This was a huge date for the stream, as we were able to host our first-ever returning creator! Emily Fraser of Weapons Grade Funk had previously joined Mike back in November of last year to talk about HC SVNT DRACONES and her upcoming game, Gallerie. This time around, she was able to sit and talk with Mark, taking a deeper look into Gallerie. Specifically, they dove into the game, talked about the history behind it, and went through the character creation process.

According to the description on Backerkit, Gallerie is a queer-focused TTRPG and self-actualization that employs art and dream elements to paint narratives about redefining oneself and fighting one’s demons. It’s about community, cooperation, transformation, unabashed self-love, facing hard memories, nightmarish enemies, systemic oppression, and the beauty of embracing what you know to be true but have been taught to ignore.” The game successfully funded, and you can currently pre-order it over on Backerkit.

The stream was a really fun stream that was one of the more unique Indie Creator Streams I’ve helped moderate. Along with Emily, the chat was host to about half a dozen of her play testers, jumping in with stories of their games, talking about their characters, and just bringing a lot of fun and great information to the stream. I strongly recommend you watch the chat while watching the video, because there was some great stuff in there.

We’d once again like to thank Emily for joining us on stream. Please, go check her work out on her website, follow her on Bluesky, and once again, go take a look at Gallerie on Backerkit. Please also watch the stream, either on YouTube or embedded here on this page!
